November 3, 1999 RESULTS
We had an outstanding selection of calves for our annual "Cream of the Crop" calf sale. The market on the lighter cattle was steady, with the heavier calves under pressure due to the dry, dusty conditions. The slaughter cattle market was steady with a week ago, the top cows still selling at $38-39, the next cut at $34-37 and thin cows under $30.
