We sold right 4930 head of fall calves Wednesday on our first day of the annual BBQ auction and were through selling by 5:00 PM. The market was very strong on all classes of calves. We sold 5833 head of yearling cattle on Thursday’s BBQ sale and were through selling by 6:00 PM. The market on lighter yearlings was strong to higher and slightly lower and uneven on the heavier steers. Flesh and quality was the determining factor.
