The bred cow market on Wednesday was active, with a nice offering of females on hand. We had very few of the second and third calf heifers from dispersions to test the top side of the market. A package of young cows set the top at $860, most of the solid mouth cows at $775-800. The short term cow market was very strong, with the better short solid at $600-680 and broken mouth from $500-585.
