We sold 3700 head Wednesday on an up and down market. Some classes of cattle were steady (mostly lighter weights) and a notch lower on others. The slaughter cattle market was $1-2 lower on a limited test. There has been alot of inquiry from spring calf producers interested in selling earlier than normal. If you are short of feed and need to move calves, make sure and let us know so we can group the calves to maximize the runs. We will offer the first spring calves on Sept. 27.
