A big run of slaughter cattle on Wednesday with a nice selection of bred heifers. The weigh-up cows were $3-4 higher than two weeks ago, with the top cows selling from $43-47 and very few cows under $40. The bred heifer market was $75-100 lower than our last cow sale, with the feed shortage being the key reason for the drop.
