We had an abreviated run here on Wednesday, with about 500 calves in the offering. The market on the steer calves was fully steady and perhaps a notch lower on the heifer calves. The muddy conditions continue to dampen the demand. When it freezes up or dries up, the demand will improve. The slaughter cattle market was $1-2 higher, as not many could make it to town the first part of the week.
