We sold right at 1500 head Wednesday on a market that was steady on the top of the line calves and a little softer on the light weight calves. The demand remains strong despite the slumping fat market. The slaughter cattle market was $2-3 higher this week as the top cows sold from $35-40, the majority at $32-34, with no test on the bull market.
