We sold 2500 head on Wednesday, with the hot weather preventing some consignments advertised from making it to town. The market was very good on all classes of cattle. The fall calf market was fully steady from two weeks ago and the yearling market on the average might have been a notch better.

The slaughter cattle market was better than expected, with the top kind selling at $27-40, the majority at $24-36 and bulls from $44-48.
