We sold 2986 head on Wednesday, with the market fully steady to a notch higher on all classes of cattle. The demand remains strong, with projected feed costs very low. The quality of cattle was top of the line and the prices paid reflected that. The slaughter cattle market was steady to $1.00 higher compared to last week’s market, with a light run of cows and bulls.
