We sold 3465 head of cattle on Wednesday, with a big crowd on hand for this offering of fancy, home-raised feeders. The quality was very deep and the market was about steady with two weeks ago on the average. We didn’t have the extreme tops we seen on the previous sale, but with $91 bid on the fat cattle and three consecutive days of lower futures, the market was very good on all classes of feeders. The slaughter cattle market was $2-3 lower on the cows and $4-5 lower on the bulls.
